Buying and Selling Antiques of all Kinds!

I have been an antique dealer for more than 25 years! I have thoroughly enjoyed hunting for eclectic finds at tag and estate sales, auctions and buying from individuals looking to downsize. I believe in the green movement, that is re-purposing old things and bringing them back to use. The purpose of this blog is to share my journey into the world of antiques...from the beginning to the end sale and every point in between!

Homemade Bloody Mary Recipe...done the Wisconsin way!

Wisconsinites are known to love their Bloody Marys!  They do them up right with a beer chaser and often times outrageous garnishes!

There are lots of bottled Bloody Mary mixes, many are quite good, but many also contain lots of sodium...so we found the perfect homemade recipe!!  You can adjust the level of spiciness by how much Tabasco you add or maybe even try adding a bit of horseradish!

10 oz. Vodka
2  oz  Worcestershire Sauce
2  oz  Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice
8 drops + Tabasco
1 48 oz Can or Bottle of V8 Juice
Salt, Pepper and Celery Salt to taste.

Add the first 4 ingredients to a 2 cup measuring cup...easy peasy!  In a large pitcher, add all ingredients together and stir!

Assemble your choice of outrageous garnishes on a long skewer, add ice to large glass.  Pour the mix over ice, add a straw and enjoy!  Don't forget the beer chaser!!
